Max Verstappen continued his dominance in 2023 as he notched his 7th win in 2023 and his 5th in a row ahead of the Ferrari of Charles LeClerc and teammate Sergio Perez.

In what was an incident-packed race that saw several drivers receive post-race time penalties, Verstappen lost the lead for the first time since the Miami race, leading a grand total of 248 laps in succession, putting him 3rd on the all-time list behind Alberto Ascari and Ayrton Senna.

LeClerc, in his best finish of 2023, briefly held the lead of the race as he took advantage of an early Virtual Safety Car, but ultimately fell back behind Verstappen as the Dutchmen went on to claim victory. Serio Perez recovered from 15th on the grid to take the final podium position as he attempted to fight back for his place in the field after several weeks of poor finishes.

Formula 1 heads to Great Britain for the Aramco British Grand Prix at Silverstone next weekend, July 7th-9th, as Red Bull and Verstappen look to continue their dominance.
