Blending the storied heritage of Cadillac’s motorsport legacy with the unmatched prowess of JOTA in endurance racing, the Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA emerges as a powerhouse partnership. This collaboration marries the factory-backed ambitions of the iconic American brand with the daring victories of the British team, which has recently secured consecutive FIA World Cup for Hypercar Teams titles and celebrated a groundbreaking overall win at Spa-Francorchamps last year.

Looking ahead to 2025, the squad boasts a dynamic range of drivers that meld seasoned endurance warriors with emerging talents. Alex Lynn, Norman Nato, and Will Stevens are set to take the wheel of the #12 V-Series.R prototype, while the illustrious trio of Earl Bamber, Sébastien Bourdais, and Jenson Button will race in the sister #38 entry.

“We pride ourselves on creating the right chemistry—not only among the drivers but throughout the entire team,” said David Clark, Co-Founder of Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA. “Every individual plays a vital role, and fostering an environment where everyone can excel is essential for our success on the track.”

The pre-season testing has already revealed a remarkable team spirit, much to the delight of the team. “That’s incredibly encouraging,” Clark noted, “but we remain humble and focused.”

Dieter Gass, Team Principal, added, “We’re thrilled to have six outstanding drivers, each bringing a mix of experience and fresh perspectives to the Cadillac program. Our challenge was to identify the best combinations to leverage the strengths within the group. While personal dynamics are crucial, we also took into account different driving styles and preferences during our pairing process. We’re eager to see what each trio can accomplish together.”

In recent weeks, Cadillac Racing has also made strategic changes to its leadership structure. Keely Bosn steps in as Programme Manager, while Sean O’Shea has been appointed as Propulsion Manager, concentrating on enhancing the performance of the specially designed 5.5-litre V8 engine. Additionally, Xavier Marcos Padros assumes the role of Technical Director, overseeing all engineering, car performance, and development initiatives. With his background as a Formula 1 race engineer—having worked with Scuderia Ferrari and Charles Leclerc, as well as stints at Williams Racing and in NASCAR—Padros brings a wealth of expertise to his new position.

The excitement builds as the eight-round 2025 FIA WEC season prepares to kick off with the much-anticipated Qatar 1812km race on February 28, following the traditional ‘Prologue’ group test at the same venue on February 21-22
